There are 16 single rooms in Beth Ezra, each with its own en suite toilet and hand basin. New residents often bring small items of their own furniture with them to Beth Ezra, but this is not essential.
Each room is equipped with a wireless calling system, so that residents never feel isolated, knowing that help is on hand immediately. Many residents have their own telephone and some also have a TV, radio or music system in their room.
Many of the rooms overlook the large, well established garden. When an empty room is available each resident is given the opportunity to move into the vacant room if appropriate.

Many residents choose to spend some of the day in one of the lounges that overlook the garden. The main lounge is also used for various activities, to which all residents are invited. A second lounge is equipped with a TV, but is often used by residents as a quiet reading room or to see their visitors in private.
Residents take their meals in the dining area off the main lounge, or in their own rooms if they choose to do so.
Each floor is equipped with a large bathroom, specially adapted to make bathing or showering easy and safe. The in-house laundry, kitchen and staff rooms are also located on the ground floor.

Maintenance staff are always on-call to help with any problems that may arise and to ensure that all the essential services and the fabric of the building remain in excellent order.
Independent reports are available from the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) on the high standard of accommodation and care provided at Beth Ezra:
