Beth Ezra employs two dedicated recreational therapists, plus volunteers to organise and provide a full programme of stimulating activities, including craft and exercise sessions, quizzes, musical afternoons .and video evenings. Books and newspapers are available on request and a mobile ‘clothes shop’ visits regularly.
During the summer, residents are encouraged to enjoy the garden. The Garden Club is available to residents who have an interest in growing their own plants or helping in the garden.
Trips are often provided to local shops and short outings to places of interest are also arranged. Visitors to Beth Ezra are always welcome at any time during the day, and many residents enjoy outings and short stays away from Beth Ezra with their family and friends.

Volunteers hold daily Bible reading sessions, weekly study groups and singing evenings, as well as an act of worship every Sunday morning. Some of our residents attend local Christadelphian meetings, for which volunteers provide transport.
The name ‘Beth Ezra’ means ‘House of Help’ (in hebrew). The Trustees try to provide a high standard of spiritual as well as physical care at Beth Ezra. While most of our residents are Christadelphians, residents of other faiths are also welcome.
Beth Ezra holds an Open Day and garden party each year in July, to which everyone is welcome.

We encourage all our residents to get involved in these group activities as part of their care plan, on a regular or occasional basis, but there is never any pressure for them to do so.
