As a non-profitmaking Trust, resident’s fees at Beth Ezra are lower than many other residential care homes in the area. Every effort is made to keep fees to a minimum without jeopardising the high standards of care and comfort provided in the home.
The major cost of running the home is the provision of care staff, day and night all week. The cost of catering and routine building maintenance and cleaning are also significant costs. Capital costs – for buildings and equipment – are funded separately.
In some circumstances, local authority funding is available to help cover the cost of residential care. For Christadelphians resident at Beth Ezra help can also be provided to cover part of the fees if private funds are not available.

Residential fees are reviewed annually in line with inflation. However, changes in local government regulations governing residential care homes often add to these costs and are outside our control.
Incidental, day-to-day expenses (eg hairdressing; chiropody; new clothes) are not covered by the fees.

Fees are paid monthly in advance by direct debit. Notice of one month is required by any resident who wishes to leave Beth Ezra, fees being payable until the day of departure.

Each resident pays the same fee, which is reviewed annually. This covers all the cost of living at Beth Ezra, apart from the minor day-to-day 'petty cash' cash expenses.
Each resident has a Petty Cash Account that is kept for them by the Manager. A statement of these expenses is provided on request. Money and items of value can be kept in a locked box in each room (for which the resident is given a key) or in the Beth Ezra safe.
